First we had Quillen my 1/6 boy: (before photos shown in previous post)
I ended up going with a more simple design in red and black. With a peasant type design for the pants, red wrap shirt with leather-like accents.
In this photo is a more detailed look at the black faux leather fabric that I used to create the boots, arm bracers and belt.
The last detail is a matching black cloak. The end results I think are really good against his dark grey skin and red eyes. The only thing that I would change in the future is making the cloak a little bit larger so it covers him up more completely.
My second boy that was in this weeks project was Agirolf: (before photos can be seen in previous post)
I kept with the more natural earth tones that suit his character..with a pair of brown cotton peasant pants, white open front undershirt and vest with a faux leather trim and matching boots.
The vest is made in a nice medium weight green linen with the brown faux leather trim and tie belt..the photo doesn't show the nice richness that the green fabric actually has, when I have more natural light to work with I may post another photos showing the true colors.
The faux leather boots I created have a nice reptile print to them that will go good with other outfits that I may make him in the future. I'm pretty happy with how the entire outfit came out the only slight modification that I would do is to make the sleeves just a tad longer to cover his wrist joint or possible add some arm bracers.
So that is the conclusion of Week 6 stay tuned for Week 7 which I should be posting up tomorrow. Thanks for viewing and please feel free to leave any comments.
